Hallowed feels like worshipped, adored, held in high regard .. the last Harry Potter book is <i>The Deathly Hallows</i>, and hallows are said to be a holy place. Bill Bryson has a book called The Mother Tongue which I’ve wanted to read but haven’t gotten to yet. Here’s a link to a review. This book might help you in your journey.
